SeliaSheets is an offline-first Android notebook published by Majkey25.

Data collection and sharing

SeliaSheets has no first-party ads, accounts, cloud sync, analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or sale of data. Notebook content is not uploaded or shared.

SeliaSheets uses two Google ML Kit features. Image text recognition is enabled by default and uses the bundled Latin Text Recognition model when the user imports an image. Users can disable Search text in imported images in Settings. Handwriting recognition is off by default and requires the user to enable it and download a language model. Both features process their input and output on-device. Notebook content, imported images, raw ink, OCR text, and recognition results are not sent to Google.

Google states that ML Kit Android SDKs collect device and app information, per-installation identifiers, performance metrics, API configuration, input and output sizes, event types, and error codes for diagnostics and usage analytics. Digital Ink Recognition also collects the configured language. Google encrypts this data in transit and states that it does not share the data with third parties. See Google's ML Kit data disclosure and ML Kit terms.

Data stored on the device

Notebook titles, pages, settings, raw ink, recognition results, image OCR text, text, shapes, arithmetic blocks, selected images, and selected PDFs are stored only in private Android app storage. Android backup is disabled.

User-directed exports and links

PDF and editable backup exports write only to destinations selected through Android's system document picker. Handwriting model downloads and ML Kit diagnostics use network access as described above. Legal, source, and optional support links open in the user's browser after an explicit tap. The destination website's policy then applies.

This website and support messages

This static site has no forms, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, browser-storage code, or third-party embeds. GitHub Pages hosts it and processes technical requests, including IP addresses, under the GitHub privacy statement. Read the cookies policy.

If you email support, the publisher receives your email address and the information you send. This information is used to respond to your request, not for marketing. Support correspondence is handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in answering requests; privacy-rights requests may also require processing to meet legal obligations. Keep messages limited to the issue and redact unrelated personal data. GitHub Issues are public, so do not post private notebook contents there.

Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal requirements. You can ask about or request deletion of that correspondence at majkeylab@gmail.com.

Data rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability of personal data held by the publisher, and object to its processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. The publisher cannot remotely access or delete notebooks kept only on your device. Google-held SDK metrics and GitHub hosting records are handled through those providers' privacy channels.

You may complain to your local data-protection authority. In the Czech Republic, see the Office for Personal Data Protection. Contact the publisher first if you want help identifying the relevant data or provider.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on the device until the user permanently deletes it or uninstalls the app. Permanent notebook deletion removes its database content and private image assets that are no longer referenced.

Security

SeliaSheets uses private app storage, validates imported files, renders PDFs in an isolated process, and does not request broad storage access. Users should protect device access and export sensitive notebooks only to trusted locations.

Children

SeliaSheets is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
