Local data
Selia Cycles stores cycle records, optional daily details, optional age and body profile values, saved forecast baselines, reminders, profile choices, and display settings in private storage on the Android device. The app has no account, ads, analytics, telemetry, Selia cloud, or network permission. The app does not send cycle data to MajkeyLab.
Contraception records and reminders
Contraception records and reminder times stay in the selected profile. Android alarm and notification access is optional. Notifications use private visibility, but their appearance also depends on the device. Reminders do not confirm a dose or calculate contraceptive protection. Contraception records are not copied to external calendars.
Self-care suggestions
Self-care suggestions are selected locally from the selected profile's dates, estimated phase and optional symptom, pain, mood, energy, sleep and pregnancy entries. This does not send data to an AI service, MajkeyLab or a food provider. Using the app does not automatically consent to sharing health data. Read the self-care limits and sources.
Optional .pc import and export
Each local profile has a separate calendar database. Profile names and display modes stay on the device. Profiles are not password-protected accounts: anyone who can open the app can switch between them. Add another person's health data only with appropriate consent. Import and export apply only to the selected profile.
When you select a compatible .pc backup, Selia Cycles reads and previews it locally. Confirmed records are merged into private app storage and are not uploaded.
When you choose an export destination, Selia Cycles writes a .pc backup containing the selected profile's cycle records and app settings to Android's file provider. The file is not encrypted. If you choose a cloud-backed destination, that provider may upload the file under its own terms. Selia Cycles does not upload it to a MajkeyLab server. Anyone with access to the file may be able to read health data, so store and share it securely.
Optional calendar mirror
Sync is explicitly enabled per profile and never enabled by importing a backup. OFF is saved before cleanup, so failed deletion cannot restart synchronization. Copies include recorded history and at most two months ahead. Delete Selia events stops sync and removes only the selected profile's Selia-created events. If cleanup fails, restore calendar access and retry that button. Ordinary calendar appointments are not interpreted as cycle records.
If you enable calendar mirroring, Selia Cycles requests Android calendar read/write permission and copies short labels for recorded periods, period estimates, fertile windows, and estimated ovulation into the calendar you select. Notes, symptoms, measurements, intimacy, and raw mood logs are never copied.
The selected provider, such as Google Calendar, Outlook, Exchange, or a local calendar, controls account synchronization and access. Events are private by default. For view-only partner access, create and share a separate calendar in the provider, then select it in Selia. Selia cannot grant or enforce provider access. The provider's privacy terms then apply.
Device transfer
Android may copy the private database and settings directly during new-device setup. Selia Cycles supplies data only for a device-to-device transport. Normal cloud backup receives no app data. MajkeyLab cannot access the transfer.
Sharing and deletion
Selia Cycles does not sell personal data. Enabling the optional calendar mirror is a user-directed disclosure to the chosen provider.
Settings > Data and transfer > Clear this calendar clears only the selected profile's records and settings. Manage profiles > Delete profile removes an additional profile and its records. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling removes all local profiles. Stop calendar sync removes the selected profile's Selia-created calendar events while permission is available. If permission was revoked or the app was uninstalled first, remove calendar copies in the calendar app.
Exported files and copies held by a selected file or calendar provider are not erased when you clear app data. Delete those copies separately through the provider.
External links and support
Privacy, source, and optional Buy Me a Coffee support links open in your browser. The destination website receives normal browser connection information and applies its own privacy policy. Selia Cycles does not attach health records to those links. If you email support, MajkeyLab receives the address and contents you choose to send. Do not send health records unless needed for a support request. You can request deletion of support correspondence at the contact address above.
Website hosting and cookies
These pages are hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub states that it logs visitor IP addresses for security. This site adds no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, external fonts, embedded widgets, web forms, or cookies. See the cookies policy and GitHub Privacy Statement. A link to another website does not load that website until you follow it.

It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It cannot confirm ovulation, predict symptoms with certainty, or provide contraception.
